In addition, to further promote our dedication to supporting our students, we offer a free refresher day. Our main aim is to ensure you feel fully confident in the treatment you are

3-day microblading, or beginners
Our training courses are informative, personal and very effective and are founded on over a decade of beauty knowledge and business experience. Our microblading beginners course is presented over a 3-day period. Our training programme will ensure you gain a good appreciation of brow artistry and develop your creative-aptitude to enable you to build your confidence in order to promote and market your work.
We offer a comprehensive beginners course held at our salon in Skipton, North Yorkshire. We limit our classes to only 3 students for a more personal one on one approach. As a tutor we are then able to get to know you and your skills, strengths, passions and learning styles.
Day 1 – An intensive theory-based learning day covering all the essential fundamental training you require in order to perform a microblading treatment in a safe and sterile environment and perform treatments in line with strict legislation to local authorities’ by-laws.
Our courses cover dermatology, health & safety, client suitability, colour theory and choosing the right pigment for different clients. We teach you how to carry out an in-depth consultation, patch testing, different microblade tools and blade as well as design considerations and the ability to draw, measure and select the perfect brow shape.
Day 2 – We strongly believe in allowing our students to be as involved as possible during our training sessions, as it is the most creative way of learning. Day 2 is very much a more ‘hands on’ training day with a full role play of the treatment process from consultations, performing the treatments, aftercare advice and the retouch process. We will also exercise our drawing ability by designing, measuring and drawing eyebrow designs on each other and will include a live model demonstration by Dawn Alderson. Students are able to monitor first-hand the full microblade treatment procedure which will be followed by a student questions and answers discussion session.
Homework – you are required to complete 15 full eyebrows drawing on latex practice mats with your pigment and microblade tools supplied to you during training. This is your chance to practice your technique using the hand-held tool and express your designing skills by creating different eyebrow designs.
Day 3 – Assessment day. Students are required to return to the salon the following week to work on their live models. We ask you to have two models accompany you on the day and you are required to complete 2 full microblading eyebrow treatments under exam conditions. You will need to complete the full process including tray set up, consultation, treatment and aftercare advice. You will be closely guided by your tutor who will monitor and support you on the day.
Case Studies – To complete your course you will need to submit a portfolio of 4 case studies including photographic proof of your work. To complete the file, you will need to include copies of client consultation forms, client feedback, before and after photos of the treatment and before and after photos of client retouch treatment.
This information must be submitted before you can receive your certificate from the academy and all case studies must be completed within a 6-month period.
Optional refresher day – this optional refresher day is complementary and at the discretion of the student should they feel additional guidance or clarification is required. Our training academy prides it’s self on ensuring our students have the confidence and ability to carry
out microblading treatments therefore you are more than welcome to return to the salon for refresher training at a convenient day and time to suit both the student and the tutor.
For the refresher training we recommend you return to the salon with one of the models who accompanied you at your assessment day. The models retouch will be required approximately 6 weeks following their initial treatment, so this would be a good opportunity to refresh your skills if you feel necessary.
Total cost of the course only £1,600 (inclusive of VAT).
